Sid Anwar - MS, CVS - Life Mr. Sid Anwar, is a Certified Value Specialist and the President of Creative Solutions International (CSI), a minority owned company devoted exclusively to providing quality services in Value Engineering (VE) as recommended by the Society of American Value Engineers and Value Improving Practices (VIPs) as recommended by Independent Project Analysis (IPA) Inc., a world class independent benchmarking organization based in the United States. CSI Projects ranged in size from US$ 5.0 Million to over US$ 15.0 Billion. Savings to our Clients has exceeded over a BILLION DOLLARS. Mr. Anwar has over 20 years of expertise in the development and implementation of these programs for a variety of industries around the world. Prior to CSI, he served as Manager of Value Engineering for Fluor Corp., one of the world’s largest Engineering and Construction companies, and was responsible for establishing and implementing their VE / VIP programs on a global basis. In recognition for his outstanding contribution he was awarded the "Trainer's Award for Excellence". Mr. Anwar has developed and implemented Value Engineering / Value Improving Practices programs for clients in the Petrochemicals, Petroleum Refining, Petroleum and Natural Gas Production, Nuclear Fuel Processing, Mining, Environmental, Transportation, Health Care, Industrial, Commercial and Manufacturing industries. In this capacity, he managed high performance cross-functional teams to solve a variety of very complex technical and organizational problems resulting in providing “added value” to his Clients. Savings to Clients have ranged from 8 to 35 percent of the capital cost / life cycle cost of a project. VE savings on individual projects facilitated by Sid Anwar and his Associates have ranged from US$150,000 to over US$700 Million. Mr. Anwar has facilitated numerous Value Engineering Workshops using the methodology of function analysis to identify, document and implement innovative and cost effective solutions. He is an active member of the Society of American Value Engineers and was the past Director of Public Relations for the Society. He received his Masters degree in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, USA. Independent Project Analysis (IPA) Inc. based in Virginia, USA, ranked his work on a Project in Venezuela as “Best-in-Class.”
